How the two allowances work
Resonance 1, Fourier, Realtime, and Proficiency share the speech understanding allowance. Orukeet transcription has a separate allowance; optional tasks and request rounding reduce its estimated minutes. Allowances reset monthly. Trials include 25%; extra usage shares one spending cap.

Same price as Resonance 1. One audio minute uses one minute from your existing speech understanding allowance, with the same overage rate. No plan change or separate add-on.

How subscription minutes are counted
Orukeet has its own monthly allowance. Transcription uses $0.00045 per audio minute; optional tasks draw from the same allowance at their listed rates. Both allowances reset monthly, including on annual plans. Unused allowance does not roll over.
For Resonance 1, Fourier, Realtime, and Proficiency, usage is measured by the second, with a one-second minimum. A 42-second recording uses 0.7 minutes.

Extra usage pauses at your spending limit. The default limit equals your monthly plan fee, or its discounted monthly equivalent on annual billing. Trial usage pauses at the trial allowance and cannot incur overage.

How many minutes are included?
Hobby ($9/month), Builder ($49/month), and Production ($199/month) include 250, 2,500, and 20,000 monthly minutes shared by Resonance 1, Fourier, Realtime, and Proficiency. Each plan also has a separate Orukeet allowance: up to 20,000, 108,888, or 442,222 transcription minutes, respectively. Optional Orukeet tasks and per-request rounding reduce those transcription estimates.
Can I use every model on my plan?
Plans include Spectra-2, Resonance 1, Fourier, Realtime, Proficiency, and Orukeet. Resonance 2 uses the same shared allowance, but new organizations need separate approval. An active trial or plan does not by itself grant Resonance 2 access. Choose monthly billing or save 20% annually; both allowances reset every month. Existing credit balances remain available under their original terms.
What happens during the 7-day trial?
For a standard 7-day trial, checkout saves a payment method and charges nothing. You get a quarter of the plan's monthly minutes. When the trial ends, we charge the amount shown at checkout for your selected monthly or annual plan. Cancel before then from your account to avoid the plan charge. Promotional trials show their own terms during signup.
Why do you require a card for a free trial?
A payment method lets your plan continue after the standard trial. Checkout shows the amount and billing date before you start. You can cancel from your account before the trial ends. Eligible promotional codes can offer a trial without a payment method.
What counts as a minute?
Resonance 1, Fourier, Realtime, and Proficiency use one other-model minute per audio minute, with a one-second minimum. Orukeet uses its separate allowance at $0.00045/minute plus selected task rates, with no duration minimum; total request usage rounds up to one microdollar.
What happens when I use all my included minutes?
Extra Orukeet transcription is $0.00045/minute plus selected task rates. Other models use the plan’s additional-minute rate. Both share one monthly spending cap, initially equal to the monthly plan fee (or discounted monthly equivalent on annual billing). Change the cap or turn overage off in your account. Trial usage always pauses at the allowance.
Do unused minutes roll over?
No. Both allowances reset monthly, including on annual plans. Your account shows remaining Orukeet allowance and other-model minutes.
Can I change plans or cancel?
Open Plan & billing, choose Cancel subscription (or Cancel trial), and confirm. No email or phone call is needed. Paid plans stay active until the end of the monthly or annual term and will not renew. Cancel a standard trial before it ends to avoid the plan charge. Cancellation does not issue an automatic refund. You can also change plans, update your payment method, and download invoices there.
Do I need a plan for the Python and TypeScript SDKs or the MCP server?
The SDKs and MCP server use your existing Oruk API key and subscription. Orukeet has its own allowance; Resonance 1, Fourier, Realtime, and Proficiency share the other-model minutes.
