Polish Matura Exams Begin With Disruption
Approximately 450,000 students will sit for the annual Matura exams starting Monday, May 4, following the long weekend. Central Examination Commission Director Robert Zachrzewski stated that the high number of graduates is a result of previous education reforms, including the six-year compulsory schooling mandate and the abolition of middle schools.
