President Karol submitted a government law regarding cryptocurrencies to the Sejm. Poland's Minister of Sport and Tourism, Jakub Rutnicki, said the importance of adopting a new cryptocurrency charter. The legislation was authored by members of the Poland 2050 party. The Ministry of Tourism is reportedly working on subsequent regulatory solutions related to this matter. The discussion is ongoing as of May 2026. The announcement was made by his chief chancellor. The legislation aims to regulate cryptocurrency activities within Poland.
