Motorcyclist Killed in Utah Highway Collision
A motorcycle accident on the route from Aldea San Luis to San Marcos Palajunoj resulted in one death and two serious injuries. Three youths were traveling on the motorcycle at the time of the incident. Witnesses reported that the vehicle was traveling at excessive speed. The deceased was identified as Daniel Belisario Paz Ramos. A motorcyclist died after being struck by a car while stopped on the side of Highway 6 in Utah County. The incident occurred on Highway 6.

Prosecution Seeks Trial For Five In Kidnapping Case
The Public Ministry requested that five individuals suspected of involvement in a May 2025 kidnapping be sent to trial. The prosecution cited sufficient evidence to establish the possible participation of the suspects in the crime of kidnapping or plagiarism. The Public Ministry requested that five alleged individuals involved in the kidnapping of doctor Julio Martínez be sent to trial. The request follows new facts emerging during the investigation into the 'Piratas de la Muerte' structure. Migration recorded the return of over 21,200 Guatemalans from Mexico and the United States during the first four months of the year. Most returnees originated from Huehuetenango, San Marcos, and Quiché. Martínez disappeared on May 28, 2025. Prosecutors are investigating the possible commission of the crime of failure to perform duties.
