Two Dead In Popayán Accident
A serious accident involving a mechanical attraction in Popayán left three people dead, including one minor. More than thirty people were injured in the incident. Three people died and 38 others were injured during a Monster Truck 2026 event in Popayán, Cauca. The accident occurred when a vehicle lost control and struck several spectators in a lot adjacent to the Boulevard Rose shopping center. Authorities are currently investigating the causes of the accident. A total of 40 people were struck by the vehicles during the incident. The event involved large trucks approximately 4 meters in height performing stunts. Authorities noted that the event was conducted without proper security measures.
