Poland Signs Armaments Program Agreement With EU Commission
Poland is set to sign an agreement for €44 billion in new armaments within the SEIF program in 1.5 hours, becoming the first European country to do so. The deal, between the Polish government and Brussels, will primarily task Polish armament factories with the production of the new equipment. Poland has become the first country in the European Union to sign specific conditions. Poland has allocated defense funds to its arms factories, including the Archer Armor Factory in Radom, Huta Stalowa Wola which produces combat vehicles, and military motorized factories in Poznań.
