Shanghai Hosts Global Champions Show Jumping Championship
The 2026 Shanghai Forest Sleeping Competition was held at Dongping National Forest Park in the Chongming District of Shanghai, China. The event attracted 100 participants of various ages. The competition consisted of eight stages starting on March 21, with six stages occurring on Saturdays from late March through April. Two additional stages are scheduled for May 2 and May 3. Competition hours are set from 12:00 PM to 7:00 PM. Each session runs from 12:00 PM to 7:00 PM. Participants must lie flat with eyes closed to compete. Sleep monitoring devices are connected to the participants to assess deep and light sleep in real time. Data from the participants is displayed simultaneously on a large screen to demonstrate the scientific nature of the competition. Competitors must keep their eyes closed to be judged on sleep quality.
