OpenAI has secured $4 billion in funding for its new entity, 'The Deployment Company'.

Doris Fisher, co-founder of the American clothing retailer Gap, has died at the age of 94. Fisher opened the company's first store in San Francisco in 1969. Fisher is credited with coining the company's name as a reference to the generation gap between parents and children. Gap's current CEO described her as a path-breaking entrepreneur. She served as the company's fashion merchandiser for almost four decades, contributing to its growth into a global brand. The retailer originally sold Levi's jeans, records, and cassette tapes. The brand currently operates more than 3,500 stores across the United States with annual sales near $15 billion. She established the company in 1969 alongside her late husband, Don Fisher, following a difficult shopping experience. The brand eventually expanded into a global chain including Old Navy and Banana Republic.

Instead, the defense plans to call Brockman and UC Berkeley computer scientist Stuart Russell to testify regarding AI safety. The testimony could occur by the end of this week or next.
