Local demand is expected to reach 1.4 million tonnes following an additional demand of 400,000 tonnes.

The Penerimen TRI announced three major initiatives in Bukit Jalil, including a one-off benefit for female workers. The move is described as evidence of government concern for the workforce. This initiative aims to help management reduce operating costs and ensure the continuity of experienced workers within organizations. The Faculty of Business Management is involved in this program. The Malaysian government is providing economic aid for 98 days after the holiday period, aiming to develop the labor insurance system. Economist Dr. Yahkin Melengkula stated that Malaysian citizen income will only increase if the country focuses on driving high-skilled job opportunities immediately. Malaysia recorded 5.17 million skilled workers in the fourth quarter of 2025.

The initiative includes a new Integrated Workplace Health Programme accessible to all employers.

The My Future Job career carnival is scheduled to take place from May 1 to May 3, 2026, at the Unified Arena Bukit Jalil. The event features 30 employers offering thousands of job opportunities. Estimated monthly salaries for these positions range from 2,500 to 16,000 ringgit.

The 125th National Labor Day celebrations include a three-day carnival running from April 30 to May 3, 2026. The event features agency exhibitions and job opportunities through the My Future Job carnival.
