President António Seguro visited Beja to focus on the agricultural sector. During the visit, the President highlighted the role of agriculture in preventing wildfires.

The Council of Ministers, led by Luiz Montenegro, has unblocked 60 million euros for the electrification of a train line in Beja. The Portuguese Prime Minister committed the government to connecting Beja, Évora, and Port Alegre via highway. The goal of the infrastructure project is to increase territorial connectivity and improve economic and business competitiveness.
