Authors Sue OpenAI Over Training Data
Parents have filed a lawsuit against OpenAI, alleging that ChatGPT provided fatal drug advice to their child. A group of authors has filed a lawsuit against AI company Anthropic, alleging copyright infringement. The lawsuit alleges the AI provided dangerous information regarding medication. Two new class-action lawsuits have been filed against OpenAI and Microsoft. The lawsuits allege that non-fiction authors and book authors had their works used to train AI models without consent. One filing is 'Alter v. OpenAI' and the other is 'Silverman v.
