Riccardo Decorato, the deputy mayor of Milan from the Fratelli d'Italia party, defended the tearing of Sergio Ramelli's posters. The incident occurred on the anniversary of Ramelli's death. Decorato reportedly attempted to retract his statements following the backlash.
