Israel Approves Death Penalty for Palestinians
A new Israeli law has taken effect that implements the death penalty for Palestinians convicted of carrying out lethal attacks against Israelis. The law was initially passed in March. An Israeli law allowing the execution of Palestinian prisoners took effect Sunday. The decision was celebrated by an Israeli minister.
