Dutch Union Opposes Social Security Plans
The Federation of Dutch Trade Unions (FNV) expressed dissatisfaction with government plans regarding social security. The union stated that the cabinet intends for people to work longer while simultaneously reducing benefits for the unemployed and the long-term sick.
