Dallas Approves $6.2B School Bond Package

Voters in Dallas have approved a $6.2 billion school bond for the Dallas Independent School District (ISD). This package represents the largest school bond in Texas history. The funding will facilitate the construction of 26 new replacement schools and the modernization of every existing campus. Additionally, the plan aims to remove approximately 700 portable classrooms and fund upgrades for safety, technology, and facilities throughout the district. This financial commitment is intended to fund improvements and developments within the Dallas school district. The decision follows municipal elections held on Saturday. Fort Worth voters also passed an $845 million bond. These approvals come as part of local municipal voting results.
