Central Bank Governor To Brief Turkish Parliament
Central Bank Governor Fatih Karahan will present banking operations and monetary policies to members of Parliament on May 5. The presentation will be delivered to the Planning and Budget Committee. This follows scheduled meetings for political party groups in Parliament on Friday and Saturday. Karahan is scheduled to provide a six-month briefing to lawmakers. The session will focus on inflation reduction processes and interest rate decisions. Lawmakers are also expected to question the governor regarding the impact of global developments on Turkey.
