Russian Consumers Increasingly Order Goods From China
The Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS) reported a decrease in prices for socially goods across several Russian regions. This price reduction follows agreements reached between local authorities, retail networks, and suppliers. Economist Alexander Rozauvaev stated that prices for social goods have decreased in various Russian regions. The report noted that companies in the oil, gas, aluminum, and fertilizer sectors are seeing earnings due to the situation surrounding Iran. Washington has been a primary importer of nitrogen fertilizers, followed by potassium and phosphate fertilizers. Regional authorities in Russia have recorded a decrease in prices for social goods and essential items. According to data from company YouMani, 60% of international orders made monthly by Russians consist of goods from China.
