Krishna Devotional Poetry Features Eight Poets
Eight poets of the Vallabha sect hold importance in Krishna devotional poetry and are known as the Ashtachhap poets. The Ashtachhap was established in 1565 by Goswami Shri Vithalnath Ji, son of Mahaprabhu Vallabhacharya.
