Iran Claims Apache Shot Down Over Strait Of Hormuz
Iran claims its forces shot down an Apache helicopter over the Strait of Hormuz. This claim comes amid reports of US strikes in Iran's Fars province. The IRGC stated the helicopter was downed during a reconnaissance mission. Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps Navy reported shooting down an Apache helicopter that attempted to illegally pass through the Strait of Hormuz. US strikes have hit Varamin, Karaj, Qazvin, Alborz, Bandar Abbas, and Kangan. This action comes amid ongoing tensions and a lack of a peace deal. It remains unclear if Iran will agree to a deal by US missile. CENTCOM confirmed the completion of US airstrikes on targets in Iran, including Qeshm Island in the Strait of Hormuz. The US Central Command has denied these claims, stating that all reports of attacks on its bases are false. Earlier, the US military launched a series of bombings primarily in southern Iran.
