- Use Chrome on the booth machine and allow microphone access for the site once — it sticks for the day.
- These pages call the real API through the booth proxy; it needs ORUK_DEMO_API_KEY set on the deployment (already set in production).
- The venue shares one IP. The booth route budgets ~60 calls/min, so back-to-back players are fine; if a 429 ever shows, wait ten seconds.
- Ka-oruk-e film clips are public domain and hosted by us. The branded Whiplash / Succession demo files are copyrighted — load them from the booth machine’s disk via "Booth file from disk"; they are never uploaded.
- Leaderboards live in the browser’s localStorage: they survive refreshes all day and reset if you clear site data.
- Position the mic close and keep the room speakers modest — echo cancellation is on, but a mic that mostly hears the TV captions the TV.
