Cruises Begin In Moscow Region

Sergei Sobyanin, Mayor of Moscow, announced that 26 Ukrainian drones were destroyed on approach to the city. Air defense systems eliminated these unmanned aerial vehicles since the start of the day. Some Ukrainian drones, which were reportedly on their way to Moscow, successfully hit targets. A source stated that there is no special need for additional air defense in Moscow, indicating that existing capabilities are considered sufficient. Operations at airports in Southern Russia have been suspended. Attacks targeted railway infrastructure, residential buildings, a kindergarten, an educational institution, a civilian enterprise, and cars. Drones reached Perm, marking the third attack in recent days, and Grozny in Chechnya. Moscow's Vnukovo and Domodedovo airports restricted operations due to drone threats.
