Beata Jarzman, the mayor of Stara Kornica in Mazowieckie, was stabbed by a local municipal office employee. The attack occurred in the late afternoon, according to Bartłomiej Świderski, spokesperson for the Siedlce District Prosecutor's Office. Jarzman is conscious and her life is not in danger. Police are investigating the incident. The victim was transported to a hospital via a Polish Medical Air Rescue (LPR) helicopter. The attack has raised security concerns in the region.

Two people died and two others were seriously injured in a collision involving two passenger cars on the route between Subkowo and Czarnin. The accident occurred at the 48-kilometer mark. Authorities are currently conducting investigations at the scene.

Drivers are conducting demonstrations to simulate the impact on daily transit. Police are currently managing traffic at the protest site.
