Swan 'Gu Tianle' Tracked From Fujian To Inner Mongolia
A migratory swan named Gu Tianle was tracked moving north along established migratory corridors after leaving the Minjiang River Estuary National Nature Reserve in Fujian. The bird has been observed in the region for over ten days and is expected to continue its flight to its breeding grounds soon. Tracking efforts involved coordination from Fujian to Inner Mongolia to monitor the bird's progress. A young swan, nicknamed 'Gu Tian Le', has completed a migration from Fujian province to a farmland area in Baotou, Inner Mongolia. The swan was discovered in Gutian County, Fujian on November 17, 2025, weak and unable to keep up with its flock. After recovery, it was fitted with a tracker and released on December 19, 2025. The tracker's data indicated its location on March 17, 2026, in a farmland area in Baotou city, Inner Mongolia.
