A 3,830-meter section of the Xia-Chuan tunnel has been successfully connected. Engineers have installed permanent monitoring equipment and encryption systems to manage structural deformation and convergence in the tunnel. Engineer An Xiaokai stated that the team is integrating green construction concepts into all project stages. Wu Xinjun, a project leader for the China Railway No. 20 Bureau Group's high-speed rail project, stated that the breakthrough at the Pingdao section of the Huaying Mountain tunnel exit has exceeded 5,000 meters. The Huaying Mountain tunnel has a total length of 12,150 meters and utilizes over 1,940 cubic meters of concrete and nearly 140 tons of steel reinforcement. Once completed, the high-speed rail line is expected to provide a rapid passenger transport link between Yishang and Fulin.
