A recent report from the African Development Bank Group warns that drought in Tunisia is no longer a temporary phenomenon but has transformed into a structural constraint.

A total of 64 projects have been approved under the Matéi plan, with most still in the writing phase. Tunisia, Algeria, and Ivory Coast are the main beneficiaries. The plan focuses on six intervention areas: health, water, energy, infrastructure, agriculture, and training.

A sea crocodile fossil has been discovered in Tunisia. The find is for understanding prehistoric marine life in the region. The fossil is estimated to be from 1514, predating the birth of the reporter. The fossil was found at a depth of over 5,000 meters.

Tunisia will provide 1.4 million dinars in exceptional aid.
