Three Greek pharmaceutical companies have constructed three state-of-the-art drug production factories in Arcadia. The project involves three distinct industrial groups. The expansion aims to increase domestic production capacity within the region. The sector currently covers between 10% and 12% of several European markets.

A new pharmaceutical production facility is currently being constructed in the Tripoli Biomechanical Park. The facility is expected to produce medicines that cover over 50% of Greece's current national needs. The site is projected to export a volume of pharmaceuticals, potentially accounting for 5% of all European pharmaceutical production. investments in the Greek pharmaceutical industry are expected to create thousands of jobs. The Ministry of Health is working to align technical and vocational training with labor market needs. The initiative aims to strengthen the sector through increased investment and specialized education.
