The municipality of Trancoso in the Guarda district has approved a support fund exceeding 100,000 euros for all parishes within the council. A total of 131,000 euros is allocated for the project. The fund is also intended to clear access points for more effective wildfire combat, according to Isabela Cunha-Marques. Improved access is intended to facilitate more effective firefighting efforts, according to Isabela Cunha-Marques. The monetary support will reach 21 parishes within the council. The initiative aims to provide local independence for faster repairs to ensure minimum circulation conditions for field workers. The goal is to allow agricultural workers to continue their labor safely. Monetary support for these projects is expected to intensify and accelerate to ensure paths are ready by summer.
