Alexander Kurinkov, head of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, reported Tuesday evening that oil leaks following a Ukrainian drone attack on oil storage facilities in Topsy have been stopped. Specialists are working to prevent oil from entering the Topsy River. The Kremlin noted the situation as a success. The attack targeted oil storage infrastructure in the Topsy region. Topsy in the Krasnodar Krai region has been subjected to Ukrainian attacks for the third time this April. The strikes hit a roadway and damaged several vehicles, according to reports provided to Krasnodar Krai Governor Veniamin Kondratyev. Previous drone strikes in the area caused fires that resulted in petroleum products entering the Tuapse River. A containment dam was constructed in response to the spill, and some areas of the city experienced what was described as an oil rain.
