The main attraction of Amrit Parv will be on May 11, when Prime Minister Narendra Modi will perform Kumbhabhishek with water from 11 holy pilgrimages on the temple's spire in Somnath. Approximately 1.2 million offerings are being made for peace and human welfare during the event. Devotees from across the country have flocked to Somnath to witness this moment. A three-day Homātmaka Maharudra Yagya is being organized at the Somnath Mahadev Temple starting today, May 9.
