Representatives from numerous local agricultural companies in the Soliman region have agreed to establish a national union for agricultural firms. The proposal seeks to formalize the sector's structure. The proposal includes groups for local companies, fruit producers, and grain producers. The union aims to facilitate product distribution, improve export capabilities, and manage relationships with banks and other stakeholders. The Tunisian Ministry of Agriculture announced on Friday the commencement of a national emergency plan to protect crops and agricultural wealth.
