The Ministry of Culture will provide funds to restore the banner of the 68th Infantry Regiment, which soldiers used to defend Poland in September 1939. Deputy Minister of Culture Maciej Wróbel announced the funding in the Sejm.

A historical banner found by the Sochaczewska Group of History Discoverers requires immediate conservation efforts. The banner was stored for many years in a milk bubble and has undergone preliminary cleaning and disinfection at the Polish Military Museum.

Minister Marta Cienkowska has allocated 250,000 zloty for the renovation of the Sochaczew Museum of the Battle of the Bzura. The grant is a two-year funding commitment. The renovation project is expected to continue until the end of next year.
