Golden Horde Capital Lacked Defensive Structures
The capital of the Golden Horde, Sarai-Batu, was initially just a camp for Batu Khan's large army. The palaces within the city contained at least 30 spacious rooms, decorated with gilded tiles, Persian poetry, and intricate floor tiling. Notably, the capital of the Golden Horde did not possess any fortress walls or moats. This historical site tells the story of the land over hundreds of years.
