Strong Winds Cause Power Outages In Poland
Severe winds have swept through Poland, causing disruption in the Podkarpacie region. Over 2,000 consumers are currently without electricity due to the weather. The storms have caused damage to local infrastructure and power lines. High winds in Vaslui County, Romania, caused power lines to break, leaving residents without electricity. In the municipality of Husi, a falling tree struck a building, resulting in a victim entering cardiopulmonary arrest. Military firefighters were deployed to clear debris. Additional power outages were reported in two localities within Botoșani County and in Nămulți due to fallen trees and broken cables. High winds have triggered over 500 interventions by firefighters across Poland. In the Podkarpackie Voivodeship, the wind caused power outages for more than 2,000 consumers.
