A 48-year-old serviceman from a territorial recruitment center was detained by law enforcement in the Rivne region. The individual allegedly pulled an object from a bag during an attack. The suspect also faces charges of desertion, according to the National Police of the Rivne region. 31-year-old Kol Allen appeared before a federal court in Washington. His defense attorney stated the suspect will not contest the prosecution's motion for pretrial detention but requested mitigated isolation conditions. A judge denied the request to intervene in the detention facility's decision regarding his placement in a 24-hour monitored secure cell.
