Le Quang Hung, Director of the Gia Lai Provincial Department of Health, confirmed the first cases of Qit Mo disease in the province this year. The patient is identified as a 39-year-old woman from Lang Moc Trang, Sai Ya Gnom. She works as a farmer, according to the report. Gia Lai provincial health director Le Quang Hung confirmed the first case of Qit Mo disease recorded this year on May 1. The patient is a 39-year-old female farmer residing in Langmuc Trang, Yadom commune. The case was reported in the Gia Lai province of Vietnam. A 39-year-old female farmer from Yadom commune, Langmuc Trang, has been diagnosed with Qit Mo disease caused by Bercur Daria Spodomali bacteria. The patient is currently receiving treatment at Gia Lai Provincial General Hospital in a critical condition.

A military vehicle measuring 3 meters wide, 2.7 meters high, and nearly 6 meters long was recovered in Gia Lai province on the night of April 29. Recovery efforts involved mobilizing excavators to pull the vehicle ashore around 9:00 PM. The vehicle contained various tracks and personal items. The Gia Lai Provincial Military Command will take possession of the vehicle for processing and display. Colonel Nguyen Xuan Son, deputy commander of the Gia Lai Military Command, stated that items were collected and moved to a management area following safety protocols. Officials also recovered bone samples at the scene. The recovered artifacts are currently being preserved for assessment.
