The head of the fisheries office, Uun Dunyanda, has proposed four sub-district areas to the Ministry of Marine Affairs and Fisheries for village development. The proposed locations include the Cerita and Panimbang sub-districts along with two points in Kenyapatan Sumur. The selection is based on high capture fisheries potential and large populations dependent on marine resources. The proposal is currently undergoing technical verification by ministry experts to determine regional feasibility.
