A forest fire has broken out in a small wooded area near Obertshausen in the Offenbach district. Group leader Maximilian Rupp and his team have deployed hoses into the forest to reach the fire. Approximately 50 firefighters are currently battling a forest fire covering 2,000 square meters. About 10 vehicles are deployed in the woods to manage the blaze. Firefighters have formed multiple sections to attack the fire from different sides to prevent rapid spread. Most of the personnel on site are volunteers. The situation remains dynamic as changing wind conditions could cause the fire to spread. Crews are utilizing a fire extinguishing vehicle at the scene.
