Phuket provincial police are investigating individuals involved in illegal substances. This action follows inspections that revealed activities damaging to the tourist landscape. The authorities are cracking down on individuals entering the area. Customs, Taxation, and Police conducted a joint operation last month targeting illegal kerosene activities, resulting in 19 cases. The move aims to combat drug trafficking and usage. The operation broke up 19 cases, inspected 15 vehicles and a speedboat, and led to the arrest of 27 individuals, including illegal fuel station operators and customers. Thai authorities have busted an illegal fuel operation, arresting 27 individuals.
