Japan's Post-War Constitution Challenged

There are sentiments that Japan, which committed to not waging war in Article 9 of its constitution after its defeat in World War II, is now seeking to re-initiate conflict. The UN Charter also contains provisions to permanently prevent Japan from pursuing militarism.
