Majalengka Officials Release 400 Hajj Pilgrims

Majalengka Regent Eman Suherman and Vice Regent Dena Mohamad Ramdan oversaw the departure of 400 Hajj pilgrims on Sunday, April 26, 2026. Hajj pilgrims from 11 sub-districts in Majalengka have been collected at the regency hall and are awaiting transport via 11 buses and one backup bus. Additionally, 441 pilgrims and 4 officials from Muncirbon Regency are prepared for departure to Kertajati Airport. On April 24, 2026, officials in Majalengka dispatched three groups of Hajj pilgrims from the Batam embarkation point. Muhammad Shafi'i reported the reduction of 200 pilgrims for Keperi. The first wave of Hajj pilgrim departures will run from April 22 to May 7, 2026, via Batam to Medina. A second wave is scheduled from May 7 to May 22, 2026, via Batam to Jeddah. Muhammad Shafi'i noted the process includes routes through Batam, Kepri, Riau, and Albap.
