Lviv Renames Street Section To Hero Andriy Parubiy Square

Lviv City Council approved renaming a square in the city center to honor Andriy Parobiy, a Hero of Ukraine and former deputy. The move follows a legislative process involving over one thousand amendments. The square, which contains the monument to Vyacheslav Chornovil and the regional administration building, will be renamed. The move follows the renaming of part of Venetsenka Street to Lychakivska. The square will be named GRU Square, according to the report.
