The new route is expected to help residents, particularly those from the back mountain area, and may alleviate severe traffic congestion on other routes, potentially reducing the need to travel through certain congested areas. Some drivers noted the road surface is still uneven, possibly due to ongoing construction. Residents have also requested more trash bins and the completion of roadside engineering works.
