The shelter is currently facing a case involving the alleged embezzlement of over 28 million rubles through fraudulent work reports. Volunteers suspect staff from an Eco Pryutty shelter dumped approximately 50 dead dogs near Komyshlov. Animal rights activist Yuriy Koretsky discussed the incident on the program 'Human Rights'.
