He will be replaced by former co-coach Petri Veijalainen, a Finn who has worked with the Huskies for two years. The new coach is expected to lead the team toward a return to the first league. Assistant coach Peteri Vecci-Parta has been named the new head coach. The team reached the DEL2 semifinals last season but lost in the finals this season.
