Self-Driving Car Causes Multi-Vehicle Crash In Taiwan
Four people were seriously injured in a multi-vehicle collision at the intersection of Zhanghua West Road and Xiaohuang Road in Kaohsiung early on May 4th. A self-driving car driven by a man surnamed Gao was traveling east on Zhonghua West Road when it rear-ended a motorcycle. The accident occurred around 4:00 AM on May 4. A male driver in a high-speed vehicle reportedly struck a motorcycle before losing control and crashing into another car. The four injured individuals were transported to Chang Gung Memorial Hospital and Xiutien Hospital. Local authorities have launched a preliminary investigation into the high-speed collision. A multi-vehicle collision occurred near the intersection of Zhonghua West Road and Xiaoyang Road at approximately 4:00 AM on May 4. Four people sustained injuries and were transported to Changhua and Xiutuan hospitals.
