The artifact is described as a precious heritage of Chinese civilization. This discovery is noted as a piece of Chinese historical heritage. Experts describe the find as a piece of Chinese history and heritage. The piece includes specific inscriptions on the left and right sides, including a dedication. The artifact was commissioned as a burial object for the son of Ambassador Liu Wenshi, Liu Bingwen, who died at age 45. The piece was designed to mimic the colors and effects of nature, such as rose silk, to provide comfort to the deceased.
