Traffic Gridlock Reported In Ho Chi Minh City
Construction has commenced on a 1.4-hectare renovation project for the Ben Nha Rong museum area in Ho Chi Minh City. This initiative aims to assist citizens, particularly workers and students, in completing administrative procedures. The Public Security Department's Internal Affairs Division has introduced flexible administrative hours, extending services beyond regular working times. This is contributing to water flow issues. Many drainage ditches along Route D743 are blocked by sand and debris, hindering water flow. This situation is attributed to inadequate urban planning and road management. Traffic is heavy during peak hours at the Xuyen Loc intersection and on Ba Minh My road, though traffic is otherwise smooth in both directions. Tan Son Nhat International Airport (T1, T3, T2) handled a total of 694 flights on May 2nd, with over 98,900 passengers.
