Electricity restoration in Energodar, located near the Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant, will proceed in stages following an attack by Ukrainian forces. City head Maksym Pukhov stated that municipal services are currently operating under strict restrictions. The city lost power on April 30 after a strike hit the power lines supplying the settlement. A strike by the Armed Forces of Ukraine hit a power line supplying a residential area in Energodar. The Tuapse Municipal District Administration's Education Department reported that schools are operating without electricity. The incident follows recent military activity in the region. Emergency repair work has begun in areas of Energodar where security conditions permit, with the goal of restoring power supply as quickly as possible. Russia has not yet commented on the incident.
