Donghai County is advancing integrated marine energy development and transport network optimization. Zhou Hua, Chief Engineer of the Donghai County Development and Reform Commission, stated the region is moving toward more comprehensive and diversified marine energy integration. The project aims to expand offshore wind power and energy storage systems. Annual energy generation from new renewable sources is expected to reach 41,200W, potentially saving over 10 million tons of standard coal equivalent. The initiative also focuses on improving international and national transport connectivity through integrated urban development.
