Six people, many of whom were fishermen, were found at a depth of five meters off the coast of Beni, a village in Mwadi Rusi. After being rescued, these individuals were identified as ADF fighters, including Erickson Luhemwe. The report also mentioned ADF fighters, M23, and their allies. Six people, many of them women, have been found dead five kilometers from the nearby village of Beni, in the Mwadi Risi region.
